When a store shows clear shoulder width, bust, waist and length, it is much easier to choose. It makes it easier to compare with an old pair of glasses that already fits well. A simple pair of glasses or a basic jacket that always works is worth a lot. I also check if the store explains how to measure PD and frame size clearly. When every picture has different colors or extreme filters, it is usually a bad sign. Now I am more careful with impulse buys and limited time offers. Forums, blogs and communities create a kind of collective memory for shoppers. If they ignore basic questions or reply with copy pasted text, I become suspicious.
